The approved 2017 Austin ISD Bond for $1,089,631,303 will create 16 modernized schools and support campus improvements and upgrades for much of the District’s 129 schools and facilities.
Foster CM Group, as a subconsultant to the Program Management team, is working directly with Austin ISD and supporting the Program Management Team by consulting with the District’s management team to plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities including the maintenance of structures, facilities and systems. As a part of our bond program support services, we are reviewing and analyzing the facility condition assessment data. In addition, Foster CM Group, worked with the AISD management teams in the conceptual development of a construction document controls program.
Foster CM Group oversaw the organization and document control implementation using Primavera Unifier and is assisting the AISD in maintaining, managing, and controlling documents for multiple K-12 construction projects, as well as in implementing the web-based document management system for the entire program.
As part of the Program Management Team, Foster CM Group is performing quality control checks of all construction drawings at various stages during the design phase and maintains the change management, RFI, and submittal logs on multiple and concurrent projects. In addition, we are providing support to the Project Controls and Operations Team to create program level policy and procedures manuals in order to assist the AISD in its facilities project mission.
