Foster CM Group, as part of a Joint Venture with PROCEDEO, served as the Owner’s Representative for the Fort Worth ISD’s 2017 bond program. The $750M program includes capital improvement projects across the District for improved learning environments for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and for Career and Technical Education (CTE); upgrades in high schools for libraries, fine arts, and athletics; and infrastructure items and preparedness for future population growth.
Foster CM Group was responsible for administrating bond funds from beginning to completion. We assisted in adjusting project scope; selecting project architects and general contractors, and for Historically Underutilized Business outreach. Our services included student engagement; community outreach; and reporting and presenting to stakeholders.
Projects included science classrooms and lab additions, collaboration spaces, support spaces, Tier 1 Career & Technical Education renovations, business/marketing, audio & visual and fine arts rooms, engineering/STEM, robotic labs, teaching and learning spaces, athletic improvements, field houses, weight rooms, security upgrades, access points, cameras, doors and hardware, technology upgrades, wireless infrastructure to buildings and outdoor learning environments, electrical, plumbing, flooring, HVAC components, interior lighting, Astroturf surfacing, parking lot/drop-off areas, landscaping, and fencing.
