Foster CM Group, as a subconsultant to the overall Program Management team, provided comprehensive Program/Project Management and related services for Fort Worth Independent School District’s 2013 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which includes renovation, modernization, addition, expansion and new construction projects (approximately 113 total projects) with a total budget of $489.9 million.
Foster CM Group worked directly with Fort Worth ISD, design teams, general contractors, and local and state agencies to oversee and manage the CIP construction, involving District-wide security and technology upgrades at every school; District-wide Pre-Kindergarten; nearly 300 classroom additions; new kitchens and school cafeterias; two new elementary schools; new field houses; Wi-Fi study areas and renovations to bring facilities into compliance with accessibility standards; a Performing and Fine Arts Academy; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Academy; and non-construction items such as buses, musical instruments and uniforms, furniture and fixtures.
