As part of the Construction Manager-at-Risk team, Foster CM Group provided Construction Management services as well as assistant superintendent, safety coordination and office support services on this $35 million Double-A Ballpark. The ballpark, located in downtown Jacksonville and situated between Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena and the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars’ EverBank Field, has a seating capacity of more than 11,000—the highest capacity in all of Double-A baseball. There are 188 club seats, 12 luxury/executive suites and 6 covered party decks. The facility is equipped with 4 locker rooms, 2 indoor batting tunnels, 2 training rooms and a weight room. The park also features an old-fashioned design, brick façade, a large scoreboard and videoboard, a playground, the “knuckle”—a unique 9-foot-high mound for seating at the left field corner—and bleacher seating.
