Director of Marketing & Communications
Adrian Grau, Director of Marketing & Communications, has more than 12 years of experience in professional services marketing. In her role at Foster CM Group, Adrian is responsible for overseeing the complete marketing activities of the firm and providing business development support. Her various roles and responsibilities include managing project pursuits and proposal (RFQ/RFP) responses; developing internal and external deliverables and marketing collateral including presentations, advertisements, and brochures; assisting with the development and implementation of business and/or marketing plans; supporting professional staff with seminars and presentations; maintaining media relations; and supporting the creation of and maintaining the company’s new website.
Adrian began her career in and learned the ropes of the A/E/C industry as a Corporate Marketing Specialist with an 800-person full-service consulting firm offering planning, engineering and program management services in Houston, Texas. She relocated to San Antonio when she joined a regional Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Environmental services firm as Marketing Coordinator. Ultimately, Adrian came to Foster CM Group in 2011.
Adrian is an active member in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), Women in Transportation (WTS) and the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). She has served in several Board positions with SMPS on the chapter level and on various committees with both SMPS and WTS. Adrian, who is a Certified Professional Services Marketer, also led the CPSM Study Group for the San Antonio chapter for two years. Under Adrian’s leadership, Foster CM Group has won two SMPS San Antonio Marketing Communications Awards—First Place: Special Event Piece and Overall Best in Show.
Adrian received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University-San Marcos) in 2002 and became a CPSM in 2011.
